José Manuel dos Santos

I've spent more than thirty years embedding design inside organizations, as a founder, as a functional leader and as an enterprise executive. The question behind this site came out of the last fifteen years of that work, inside large corporations.

I hold a PhD in Design from IADE, Universidade Europeia (2020) and an MA in Industrial Design from Central Saint Martins (1993).

I write at zemanel.com. I advise organizations through consulting.zemanel.com. This site is where my research lives.
